2008 SOUTH EAST COWBOYS ASSOC. 2009
Fourteenth Season!! There are some changes this year!!
We are about to start our fourteenth season as the South East Cowboy Association! Most of the rules are still the same, as are the fees. Please look them over to refresh your memory, or, if you've not ridden with us before, please be familiar with them. I will ask in advance that you adhere to the rules. I will NOT change, or bend them for anyone. I appreciate your understanding regarding this matter and thank you, from the start, for not asking me to treat you differently.
Point System remains the same: 100 pt. total/event
| 1st place = 29 pts | 4thplace = 14 pts |
| 2nd place = 24 pts | 5th place = 9 pts |
| 3rd place = 19 pts | 6th place = 5 pts |
In the event of a tie, the tying competitors will receive points for the position in which they placed plus the next position, this sum will be
divided between the tying competitors. Ex. Tie for 3rd place = (19[3rd])+14[4th])
÷ 2 = 16.5 pts each.
* Team Ropers may rope both ends but points will be given accordingly.
* TEAMS will be capped at a number 10 (USTRC #'s)
